Screen Sharing in Gnome3
Vino is a VNC (Virtual Network Computing) server allowing remote connection to your actual desktop.
It is a default component of the Gnome Desktop environment.
Configuration
$ gsettings set org.gnome.Vino require-encryption false
$ gsettings set org.gnome.Vino prompt-enabled false
$ gsettings set org.gnome.Vino authentication-methods ['vnc']
In case of input of passed, please use password black in Gnome Settings
In my case, Gnome Schren Sharing Wigdet may have some bug. Screen Sharing didn't activated when I try to enable Screen Sharing on Gnome Settings.
(*) Configure more keys using GUI conf tool.
$ dconf-editor
(*) Please visit the below URL to more specifi configuration
Start server
# /usr/libexec/vino-server &
Runnig on a headless server ( Not Tested )
~/.config/autostart/org.gnome.Vino.desktop
[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Name=Vino VNC server
Exec=/usr/libexec/vino-server
NoDisplay=true
VNC Viewers
You can choose various vnc viewers for windwos, linux or ,,, Chrome.
I recommend VNC Viewer for Google Chrome.
